ABOUT

Meet Justin

Born in Texarkana, Justin Webb has quite a few places that he can call home. He graduated from high school in Tyler, Texas in 2000 and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2001. He was completing his MOS training in September 2001 when the United States was attacked on 9/11. After serving in the Nuclear Biological and Chemical Defense group, he transferred to Infantry and deployed to Iraq during the 2003 invasion with the 2nd Battalion 6th Marines as a part of Task Force Tarawa and Operation Iraqi Freedom. After returning from Iraq and serving in Okinawa, Japan, Justin attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, where he studied Physics, Anthropology, and Philosophy.

While attending college, he was one of only a handful of students nationwide to be selected for the United States Navy’s Bachelors’ Degree Completion Program, which allowed him to remain on active duty while completing his undergraduate degrees. Justin attended Navy Officer Candidate School in 2009 and volunteered to deploy to Afghanistan from 2012 to 2014 during Operation Enduring Freedom. After his tour in Afghanistan, he went back into the Navy Reserves, working in Intel with Special Operations Command (SOC) South and SOC Central, deploying multiple times to the Middle East in support of these groups. Justin then began working in the Finance and Real Estate industries, completing both his MBA and Master of Finance from Tulane University in New Orleans in 2018 and 2019. He has spent the past six years volunteering with the Dallas Symphony and joined the Tulane Fund Advisory Board. He currently lives in Dallas, Texas, with his wife of four years and Catahoula-Pit rescue dog, Belleau Wood. Mr. Webb serves as a Director on the National Mounted Warfare Foundation Board of Directors.
